Get help with school uniform costs this summer
Struggling to make ends meet? Worried about back to school costs? Help is on hand. We have set up a limited fund to help UNISON members on low income with school uniform costs by way of a one-off payment of up to £120.
If you are in receipt of Housing Benefit or your income after tax, National Insurance and pension contributions (not counting Child Benefit, the child care element of Working Tax Credit, Disability Living Alloowance and PIP) is less than £18,000 per year, then you may be entitled to a school uniform grant for up to 3 children. The payment is £40 per child up to a maximum of £120 per family.
If you think you qualify, fill in the application form and send it off now.
